Junior and Family Membership

All ages are welcome and many people choose to join as a family. We encourage junior paddlers to take part in the BCU 'Paddlepower' scheme, which helps them develop skills whilst trying out lots of different types of craft. Please note than an adult must accompany children under the age of ten.

Subscriptions

We allow new paddlers to take part in three Club activities before asking them to join. The subs payable depend upon your class of membership and when you join.

*Under 10s can only join as Family Members; Parents/Guardians must always accompany these junior members and be fully responsible for their actions.
**Only for Adults and Juniors who do not participate in river trips regularly - ask for more details.

Hire and Trip Fees

Other fees are currently:
Pool Session £4.00 for members (£5.00 non-members). River trips £5.00 adult £3.50 junior
Boat hire* £5.00 adult £3.00 junior

* includes buoyancy aid, paddle, spraydeck, cag, helmet etc.
